ich beabsichtige mir ein FRITZ!Smart Gateway zu kaufen. Ich will damit erreichen, dass der Zigbee USB Stick überflüssig wird, der ja die Zigbee-Komponenten über eine serielle Schnittstelle in den Raspi 5 einbindet. Diese will ich aber für den Smartmeter-Adapter nutzen über den ich die Stromdaten erhalte. Dafür habe ich bisher einen 2. Raspi genutzt, der ja dann überflüssig wäre. Kannst Du oder irgend jemand sagen, ob ich das richtig sehe?Ich gehe davon aus das das (abhängig von Deinen Zigbee-Geräten) gehen kann.
Aber: Warum besorgst Du dir nicht einfach einen Lan Koordinator (z.Bsp. den von Cod.M) ? Dann kannst du den Zigbee Adapter wie er ist weiter nutzen, und ggf. sogar direkt übernehmen - hängt davon ab was du für einen USB Stick hast.
Auch: Was hat die serielle Schnittstelle damit zu tun ? Der Raspi hat 4x USB. Sind die bereits alle Belegt ? Das System verträgt ohne Probleme mehrere Serial->USB Konverter, zur Not sogar über einen Hub.
Generell ist meine Erfahrung das die Zigbee Geräte über die Fritz-Box nur bedingt gehen.

Du schreibst überraschendes.
Einen USB-Zigbee Adapter wie den Conbee (https://phoscon.de/de/conbee2/) betreibt man an der USB-Buchse und das hat m.E. nichts mit "seriell" zu tun bzw. würde etwas einschränken.Wenn Du ein Smartmeter auslesen willst, dann kann man das über sowas wie einen Wattwächter (https://www.amazon.de/WattWächter-Stromzähler-SmartMeter-vorinstalliert-Volkszähler/dp/B0DDHPZQPX) tun, der sich per WLAN und MQTT verbindet.
Dann sind immer noch 3 USB-Buchsen für irgendwas frei verfügbar am Raspi.
Und bzgl. des AVM Zigbee Adapters würde ich immer rest prüfen, welche Geräte er wie gut unterstützt. Nicht jeder Zigbee-Empfänger kann mit jedem Gerät. Und manche Empfänger sind schwach supported, weil dieser Support aufwendig ist.

Das Problem habe ich schon mehrfach erwähnt. Ich lese den Stromzähler über die GPIO Schnittstelle aus und damit wird die Möglichkeit des Zigbee Adapters blockiert.

Das Problem habe ich schon mehrfach erwähnt. Ich lese den Stromzähler über die GPIO Schnittstelle aus und damit wird die Möglichkeit des Zigbee Adapters blockiert.
Diese Aussage macht keinen Sinn.
- der Zigbee-Adapter nutzt die GPIO's nicht.
- Einzig die raspbee/raspbee2 Platinen nutzen die GPIO. Austausch der Hardware wie oben geschrieben gegen ein Lan Gateway reicht. Du schreibst aber auch das du einen USB Stick hast. Also sollte das nicht Dein Problem sein
- Serielle Schnittstellen die über USB angebunden werden laufen auch nicht via GPIO

Nachtrag: Es ist bekannt das das Fritz Smart Home maximal 100 Smart Home Geräte (50 an der Box, 50 am Gateway). Das gilt für Zigbee und Dect gemeinsam.

Er steckt in einer der USB Buchsen eines Raspi 4.

Beide funktionieren bestens. Ich möchte aber die Zigbee Komonenten im Raspi 5 integrieren und das funktioniert nur, wenn ich den IR Lesekopf abklemme und den Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus in die USB Buchse stecke.
