Und die Adapter auch aktuell halten.

Diese Angabe verstehe ich nicht... was ist da zu Updaten? Bei den Adaptern werden mir nur 3 oder 4 Angezeigt das es Updates gibt

Ja, das habe ich schon gesehen... ich möchte aber wissen WAS das ist. Ich das z.B. wie ein Windowsupdate zu verstehen, also Aktualisierungen des Betriebssystems?

Du hast halt hier keinen Desktop-Aufsatz, der das Ganze in Form von Meldungen o.ä. präsentiert.
Ein Linux soll vor allem eins: Laufen!
Um Updates muss man sich schon selbst kümmern.Ich bin ja auch eher "WIndows-ianer". Die "Linux-er" ticken da anders

Ist ja nicht so, als wenn es nicht drölftrilliarden Desktops oder Fenstermanager für Linux gäbe. Aber im Serverbetrieb verbietet sich der Betrieb eines Desktops.
Die 'pending Updates' wurden in früheren Versionen in der Konsole bei der motd Begrüßung angezeigt.
Wurde aber wegen Sicherheitsbedenken wieder abgeschafft. -

Ich habe den VIS Adaper gelöscht...inkl alles darauf beruhenden Komponenten.
Beim Start legt er ja ein neues Projekt an, deswegen ist da wieder ein Main Ordner vorhanden

wenn ich VIS starte, sagt er mir das er noch kein Projekt hat.. wenn ich es ihn anlegen lasse, habe ich wieder den Ordner MAIN, wo ich aber meine Datei NICHT reinkopiert bekomme...
