Die Empfehlung des Hauses odroid ist offenbar ubuntu 22.04.
Ich persönlich würde wohl Debian Bullseye vorziehen:https://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?f=203&t=45951
Meinen bestehende iobroker und vis übertragen macht man dann, wenn iobroker installiert ist?
In den frisch installierten ioBroker spielt man sein Backup ein. (Vorher noch den Adapter 'vis' installieren).

Genau das Problem hatte ich letzte Woche.
Habe mal (so aus Spaß) alles neu gemacht.
Und musste dann alles was mit vis zusammen hängt deinstallieren.Vis in einer alten Version und dann update.
Erst dann hat dies funktioniert.Wird das irgendwann bereinigt?
Ist doch schon länger der bug.
(hab jetzt aber auch nicht nach einem issue gesucht; vielleicht gibt es ja schon eines). -

Unter root wird nie hantiert. Frage also hinfällig.

Betriebssystemupdate (apt update, apt upgrade) wurde mit user nicht zugelassen. Ist das normal? -
@manuel001 Deshalb mit dem angelegten User "sudo" vor diese "apt" Befehle setzen - aber merke: niemals iobroker Befehle mit sudo anpacken

Ah das war das was ich noch in Erinnerung hatte. Das habe ich etwas vermischt. Deshalb frage ich nach, damit ich nicht von Anfang an ein verhunztes System habe.

Natürlich.
Für solche systemnahen Dinge braucht es entsprechende Rechte. Aber auch die gibt man seinem Standarduser und dann setzt man vor diese systemkritischen Kommandos nur ein sudo
Also:sudo apt update sudo apt full-upgrade -
iobroker und vis Adapter ist installiert.
Daten jetzt übertragen mit Backitup? -

Nur der Master wird ersetzt. Gibt es da irgendwas zu beachten?

Dem neuen Master hätte ich eine neue fixe IP vergeben.keine Ahnung - aber ich denke dass da schon Probleme auftreten ... bin da aber raus weil ich mich mit solchen Systemen nicht auskenne.

Ich habe mich dazu entschlossen, dass ich die IP Adresse für den Master gleich lasse.
Dann wurden die Slaves nach Backup einspielen auch gleich erkannt.
Auf den ersten Blick sieht alles gut aus.
