      Hi all,

I am using Homematic CCU2, some Amazon Echo Dot`s and IOBROKER on RasPI 3 with Raspbian.

my usecase for IOBROKER is to execute voice commands on Amazon Alexa executing Programs on my CCU2. Like "Alexa swith light on" and many more.

In the very past I used web adapter and cloud adapter, then web server and cloud adapter, now it seems cloud adapter is telling me to use the IOT adapter...As I am not so deep in all this - can anybody tell me, what is the recent proposal which adapters to use for this case as of now? Many posts I find are years old andoutdated.

      Thanks a lot.

      br,
      Robin

          Hi Wendy,

means in total, if I would install in a greenfield....iot adapter additionally to the cloud adapter, web server, ReGaHSS and RPC or does it replace anything?
are you aware if there is any recent tutorial for this case?

          Thanks, Robin

P.S. I am not using Homematic IP (!)

@RobinNoRobot Only iot connects to Amazon now.
If your cloud-adaptor is not being used for connections to other clouds you should disable or even deinstall 'cloud'

top. disabled cloud, configured iot - is on green now.
but don't get the account connection done on amazon side, it opens the login window of iobroker, I enter the account emailaddress and pw....alsways repplies that these data are wrong - same data on the iot adapter side have been accepted and are working. Ican also login with these at iobroker pro site.

is it known that anything is recently down there?erroramazon.jpg

I remember that the login with IOT has been changed.

As I‘m not using IOT Adapter i need to search for procedure.

                          Vielen Dank!
